Recently, The Sunday Times published a guide to London's most attractive places to live, and Fitzrovia topped the list. According to the editors, the area has managed to find its own style and rid of the previously sleepy and slightly shabby look. The neighborhood started building up in the 18th century by Charles Fitzroy, who designed it for the English aristocracy, who, in turn, refused to live there, giving room to migrants from France, Italy, and Germany.
